Often when people are thinking about an architectural project, they are thinking about technical things: square footages, floor plans, permitting, and construction costs. And yes, of course those things are important. But they aren’t the whole of it.
Architecture at its best is also an art. Every building has a story to tell, and every space has the potential to inspire, comfort, or surprise us. The art in it slows us down. It invites reflection, curiosity, and delight.
For us at CDA, the art is the point. It is a fundamental piece of the built environment — one that creates memorable experiences and lasting impressions. Through our architecture, we aim to create moments, experiences, and interactions that inspire. In a world that can feel increasingly generic and uninspiring, where everything around us is becoming more saturated with AI, we believe the art of it is more important than ever.
Welcome to our Post. Here we’ll be sharing insights from our creative process, spotlights on projects, and thoughts and views on art and architecture.
