Chris Dorsey Architects is a creative architecture & design practice located in the Downtown Los Angeles Arts District.

We believe that architecture should be expressive, utilizing art and design to create something that's truly inspiring. We work closely with our clients and partners to provide imaginative design through collaboration and creative exploration — working to tell their story, together.

Chris Dorsey
Founding Architect
Chris Dorsey is a licensed architect & artist with more than 15 years of experience with commercial, residential, and adaptive reuse projects.
While Chris Dorsey Architects is located in the heart of the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles, his work spans across the U.S. He has worked with growing national brands to expand their footprint into new markets across the country, and helped international brands bring their concepts to an American audience.
Chris believes that design should be collaborative, unique, and sustainable. His passion for creating spaces that feel one-of-a-kind comes from a background in the arts. A former guitar player turned avid photographer and painter, Chris brings that artistic sensibility into his projects through details like custom furniture, murals, and hardware. He holds a MAarch from The Pratt Institute in New York City.
